Barranca was a crusade of miracles from the very beginning. As seen in the picture on the right, a man who rarely went to church received healing from his paralysis. His wife faithfully attended church, but he had hardly any desire to follow Christ. One night he came forward asking the Lord to heal his paralysis. Instantly, he was healed. All pain disappeared. All evidence of paralysis disappeared. Here you can see him with full mobility.
The second night of the crusade will always stick out in my mind. A young man came to the event, heard the message of salvation and headed home on his bicycle. As he headed under an overpass, he was struck by a gasoline tanker and both were instantly killed. The last thing they saw was one of our crusade signs hanging on the over pass. It reads, "There is Hope in Jesus." You never know when the last time someone might hear or see the message of Hope. Barranca is a town of 40,000 with approximately 25 churches that supported the event. More than 1,000 children, youth and adults gave their hearts to Christ for the first time. More than 50% of them are now attending local churches. |
